"This is a great little budget friendly hotel with a spectacular view. My room was large with a balcony overlooking the central valley. I arrived before check in, but my room was ready, so I had immediate access. The folks running the hotel were kind and courteous and arranged a 6:00 am pick up so I could get to the airport. I was only there for an afternoon and overnight so didn't use the pool but others seemed happy with it. There is a restaurant within a 5 minute walk. I didn't explore the area, but chose the place for a short, peaceful stay with a view, and it delivered. It's about 25 minutes to the airport. Please, if you book, realize it's a family run hotel and not a 5 star resort. "

"Had a great stay here. Will return for another booking soon!! Staff was wonderful the room I had with a view was perfect. The only complaint I have is that one of the outlets under my desk wasn’t fully placed properly. You can see the a 3 inch gap in between th drywall. Also the toilet seat wasn’t placed properly it was off centered. Trust and believe I use toilet paper to protect against any kind of germs. Besides that it was a great stay. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belen. Even though we arrived after the shuttle stopped running, the hotel proactively arranged a car for us. A huge plus: the coffee shop is open 24 hours, which was perfect for grabbing a late-night bite after 11 PM. The rooms were are clean and comfortable, as expected from the Marriott brand. We spent our morning walking the stunning grounds and enjoying a delicious breakfast buffet before the hotel coordinated our transport to the Sansa domestic terminal. After a stressful day of missing our return flight, returning to the Marriott was a relief. The pool and lush grounds were the perfect way to unwind. We also enjoyed dinner and a game at the bar. Traveler Tip: There isn’t an ATM directly on-site, but there is one in the adjacent plaza just a 5-minute walk away. Overall, a beautiful property only 10 minutes from the airport!"

"Nice restaurant slightly expensive. Breakfast was good but bacon would have made it much better than cold ham slices. Room is good but needs a recliner. Only has a desk chair - not that comfortable while in room waiting. Staff very friendly and some had excellent english. Shuttle from and to airport much appreciated. "
